About Us
The purpose of the Using Information Improving Healthcare site is to share good practice and innovation in the use of information to support healthcare delivery and improve health from an international perspective.
It has been developed with support from UK and international professional organisations as well as the four UK country eHealth programmes, and sponsored by Scottish Government. The partner organisations link on the home page displays our stakeholders and we thank them for their support.
The project board responsible for the project has evolved into an Editorial Group and will continue to maintain governance arrangements and management of the site.
The site is hosted by the eLibrary within the Knowledge Services Group (KSG) of NHS Education for Scotland. KSG provides expertise and specialist technical and information management services to maintain the site and facilitate the Editorial Group.
The site aims to support the culture change required to realise benefits from eHealth by engaging, empowering and enabling Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professions practictioners and others in healthcare delivery through 'stories' about benefits.
